Sending a Proof of a Manual Newsletter

You send a proof to a select audience to verify that it appears as you intend. You can send a proof of a manual newsletter before sending the final newsletter or as part of sending the final newsletter.

Sending proofs before sending the final manual newsletter

To send a proof of the newsletter before the final version:

1. Navigate to the Newsletter page by clicking Newsletter.
2. Click New Newsletter.
3. Create the manual newsletter.

   Note: You can enter e-mail addresses to send a proof to; the newsletter is sent to these recipients as part of the process of sending the final newsletter.

4. Go to the Home page.
5. Click Setup for the newsletter to proof.
6. Enter or copy the content for the newsletter.

   

7. Click Save.
8. Enter the e-mail addresses where you want to send the proof in the Preview section.

   

9. Click Send Sample Proof.

A proof of the newsletter is immediately sent to the recipients you specified in step 8.

Sending proofs along with sending the final manual newsletter

To send a proof of the newsletter along with the final newsletter:

1. Navigate to the Newsletter page by clicking Newsletter.
2. Click New Newsletter.
3. Enter the appropriate information, including entering the e-mail addresses to receive a proof of the final newsletter in the Proof Addresses text box.

   

4. Check the "Send proof addresses a sample of the final mailing" option.
5. Click Save.

When you send the final newsletter, the e-mail recipients you entered in step 3 receive a proof of the newsletter.
